So far no complaints. Love all the room in the Frigidaire, plenty of room in the doors with a butter dish on the top. The vegetable and cheese drawers are also very roomy. The shelf™™s are adjustable which is a bonus. The ice maker is perfect. Large holding container and the ice comes crushed or like small cubes, love it. Plenty of room on the shelf™™s in the door and on the shelf™™s in the freezer. I am totally satisfied and would highly recommend.

I really love my new refrigerator. I think it™™s perfect for one or two people. It has plenty of room for refrigerator items as well as all your freezer items. The large drawers that are on the side or spacious enough to put larger items. I use one of the crisper down below for vegetables. I use the other crisper for cheese, bacon, and deli meat. It has even cooling throughout. Easy touch water and ice dispenser. What™™s not to love!

My wife loves her new fridge. Not sure why the power outage light comes on frequently after using the ice cube dispenser, but otherwise a decent fridge. Also don™™t like paying $300 extra to get a white fridge versus stainless? Doesn™™t make sense

This is a commentary on the design of the Frigidaire FRSS2623AW (Refrigerator), bought in October 2025 (still works). For reference, I™™ve owned two previous versions of this same model going back 15 years. My reason for getting this model of (side-by-side) refrigerator is because it™™s a basic appliance ™ as basic as you can buy these days of everything overloaded with crap bells and whistles.In the current version of this refrigerator the cost cutting is evident and unfortunate. This is especially aggravating when the cost of the white color refrigerator was $250 more than the black or stainless steel finishes. I suppose Frigidaire learned this scheme from BMW. What™™s next? You™™ll need a monthly subscription for the refrigerator to cool?Design observations ™ a case of design regression:(1) This has 3 shelves in the refrigerator section, but with only 4 fixed attach points. That is, unlike the previous versions you cannot adjust the shelf placement to your liking. You only get what the bean counters at Frigidaire prescribed. The problem is that you end up with wasted space.(2) The refrigerator door shelves are now made of thin, flimsy plastic (they flex). Given that most people grab the edge of a shelf to swing close the refrigerator door, these shelves are not likely to last very long. Replacement cost about $30.(3) There are two door shelf sizes (6.5™ deep and 4™ deep). The bigger (6.5™) shelves are fixed above the smaller shelves. That means when you™™re standing in front of the refrigerator the big shelves and their contents block the view of the small shelves below. To see what™™s in the small shelves you have to bend down.(4) So you ask ™why don™™t you just move the small shelves above the big one™. You cannot! The design gurus at Frigidaire have designed different style attach points for the big and small shelves.(5) The temperatures controls have been moved from inside the refrigerator section to the edge section of the freezer door. The controls are now electronic touch membranes (not knobs) which change the settings with a very light touch. That means when you open and close the freezer door you can inadvertently touch the controls and change the temperature settings. There is a very faint beep tone emitted when a button is pressed, but you better have good hearing.(6) The labels on the temperature controls are not lit. The font is grey on a black background that has a non-smooth surface texture. Twenty-year olds with good eyesight will have no problems with the labels. Others will eventually learn what the buttons are by relative position.(7) Compared to the previous version, this refrigerator does not cool the water coming out of front water dispenser. That™™s because this newest version no longer has a reservoir for holding and cooling the dispenser water. I apologize for my inflated expectation that a refrigerator should cool water.(8) This item may not be a flaw, but could have been designed for more versatility: The small hose for dispensing water at the door is tucked up so that it can™™t be seen standing in front of the refrigerator. This makes it difficult to fill a container with a small opening, such as a bottle. To fill a bottle you have to bend down, look up to location the hose, and align the bottle opening perfectly with the hose. As a point of reference, I was able to easily fill a bottle with the previous version of the refrigerator.(9) The lights on the front dispenser panel are now built-in LEDs. If they burn out (yes, LEDs can burn out, one way or another), you™™re calling a tech at a rate of $150 per hour, who will dismantle the front end of your refrigerator. In the previous version you got a bulb from Walmart and put it in yourself.(10) This item is not a design flaw ™ Yet. You™™ll notice that this refrigerator runs almost all the time. If you just open and close the door the refrigerator starts running (you can hear it). The current design philosophy is to run the compressor as frequently as possible to maintain a stable temperature. Nice idea, but if and only if the designers did not also cut cost on the motor and compressor design. For reference, see the automotive stop-start feature which destroys cheaply built engines. (11) Why are the doors misaligned? The installers couldn™™t fix it because that™™s the way it is. They say they see this all the time. Also, many other reviews point out the misaligned doors. Perhaps this is another design feature I don™™t understand. Or, perhaps it™™s a case of ™™¦ good enough, ship it ™¦™. In any case, if the doors don™™t fit, then the refrigerator isn™™t cooling as intended.(12) I told you about the $250 white paint job. This is just paint on metal. Easily scratched. As a point of reference, on the previous versions the doors were covered with a plastic casing, which was easier to clean, finger-print resistant and mostly scratch resistant. Note to Frigidaire: How about charging me $500 extra and give me back the plastic door coating?(13) The switch to turn off the ice maker is very well hidden and the user manual doesn™™t tell you.(14) Items placed on the top shelf of the refrigerator may freeze, even if the temperature setting is at ™Recommended™. Many other reviewers also point this out. (15) The interior air filter: a pointless revenue generation feature. If you take the filter out, the filter warning indicator will say everything is OK.I™™ve had this refrigerator for only 15 days and I™™m counting my blessings that it still works (there are many horror stories in the reviews). The design issues I™™ve noted above are based only on what I can see and touch. It™™s scary to imaging the cost cutting shortcuts that have been taken in the functional components of this unit. I gave this review 3 stars. The previous version of the refrigerator would have gotten 4 or maybe 5 stars. That's design regression.

Our old side-by-side fridge was too small and was making an excessive amount of noise. We shopped around again considered many models. The Frigidaire side-by-side we chose is good sized; the ice and water dispensers are uncomplicated and easy to use. The freezer compartment is large enough for our needs. No complaints at all, recommend highly!

We have had our Frigidaire Side by Side for app 1 month and I am so happy with it! The Frigidaire was a replacement for a very expensive Samsung that had a bottom drawer freeze, and an ice maker that stopped work in the first year! We never could get use to the blackhole bottom drawer freezer. We love the side by side easy to view storage! We love the HUGE ice maker! We love how we now have nearly ice cold milk! It easy to see how this is the number one refrigerator on the market, we love it!

Like the size of the refrigerator. This is a replacement for the same model purchased last year. The ice-maker stopped working but they quickly addressed it under warranty with a replacement. Wish this model had a deli/meat drawer but otherwise its very nice.
