IceMaker broke after a week

The ice maker on the bottom stopped working after less than a week. We had the Electrolux repairman out and it was determined to be a faulty wire. While the repairman said he could patch the wire (there were no other fixes for it) the manufacturer said that would void the warranty. Electrolux came back and said they would replace the fridge and pay us what we paid to get a new one. The issue is that we bought it on Presidents™€™ Day weekend when it was highly discounted™€¦ it™€™s been a mess! It™€™s a decent fridge. Love the water dispenser area, the big produce & deli drawers and it has decent space in the doors. The fan is loud when it™€™s running however and the ice maker is SUPER loud when it dumps ice on the top bin. It™€™s an ok fridge, but not sure I would get it again.

Purchased this refrigerator in June 2022. In Dec 2022 food in refrigerator freezing. After 4 weeks waiting for part a repair was completed. Food still freezing in deli tray and crisper trays. Service technician has now made a total of 5 repairs since Jan 26, 2023 with no resolution. Called Frigidaire inquiring replacement of refrigerator and told would need to wait a week for a technician to look at the refrigerator and then wait another 10 days for a determination. Asked to speak to a supervisor and after several calls and on hold for 45 minutes said a review could be done would take between 10 - 20 days but food freezing in the refrigerator is not a reason to replace. Not happy with customer service and multiple replacement parts with still no resolution

It is a nice looking unit. The interior lighting and functionality is very nice. One issue I have is the folding flap on the one refrigerator door that sometimes missed the track and doesn™€™t fold over and seal, which I have to realign the doors to fix. The other issue is the water dispenser position in the door in that the water tube is too far from the actuation sensor so I have to have a wide cup in order for the water to dispense into the cup, otherwise I need to touch the sensor with my hand while holding the cup so as not to spill water. I do enjoy the abundance of space in the freezer, which is much better than the side by side I previously had.

The electronics on front of the fridge started going out within the first two weeks of delivery. I loved the crush ice and regular ice. Now I can™€™t even get ice out of the door. A repair person was supposed to come last week, postponed to this week because of snow. I™€™m hoping this problem gets resolved. It may just be a short in electrical. I really do like the refrigerator. It™€™s roomy and the freezer is just right for our family. I™€™m hoping it can be fixed.

I was very excited to receive my new fridge. Was not happy with the install. Pieces of plastics were all over the crevices. Had to use tiny tools to get it all off. Took forever. Doors were not aligned. Installers didn™€™t know why, they told me my model was no good and to return it. My husband had to look it up to try and fix it. The piece in the back that covers the filter was broken when we removed the tape, Lowe™€™s where I purchased it said I couldn™€™t get a new one, we had to buy on eBay. Then my ice machine in the freezer broke after 2 weeks and I have to get a new one installed. Not a great experience.

I recently purchased the 27.8 Cu. Ft. Frigidaire Gallery French Door refrigerator and my wife and I absolutely love it. We had previously owned a Kenmore side-by-side door for the past 20 years and was in the market to find a replacement. We purchased the black stainless steel and it fit perfectly in our kitchen. The main reason for choosing Frigidaire is the quality and years of top-of-the-line reviews people have written about the brand. An outstanding feature is the roominess of both the freezer and fridge compartments. We were able to move all of the items in our old refrigerator to the new one and still had room to spar in both compartments. We also like the shelving configuration as it allows us to compartmentalize the food items for easy access. We both are looking forward to a long and enjoyable use of this refrigerator.

We had our new 27.8 Cu. Ft French Door Refrigerator delivered a couple of weeks ago and it is a dream! The refrigerator seems so much larger than we had, however it is very close to the same size - this is because of the way it is set up, the ability to move the shelves is very nice and you can set the refrigerator the way which will accommodate what you buy. Having 2 ice makers is also a must for those who love ice. It is very easy to keep clean and the lighting is amazing.

We™€™ve had 3 delivered now, on 2 of them the frame was bent enough so the doors would not align, where the 2 doors meet, the right side door was 1/4-3/8™€ higher then the left. Left door could not be adjusted any higher without hitting the ice maker, the right door was adjusted as far down as possible. The 3rd one delivered was square, doors align ok but the doors are not in the same plain, the right door is sticking out 1/8™€ at the top compared to the left door and at the bottom it is recessed 1/8™€ compared to the left door. Also the freezer drawer doesn™€™t make good contact to the frame at the top, there is a 3/16™€ gap between the magnetic strip and the frame per the attached picture. What do we have to do to get an acceptable level of quality in a frigidaire refridgerator?

Refrigerator is nice so far. Love the smaller size ice cubes. Cannot get the front doors to line up. Lowe's was absolutely terrible with delivery. One of the two delivery men barely struggled with speaking English - the 2nd - no English. Just took it out of the box, and placed it in the middle of the kitchen. I had to do ALL assembly, and the removal of the protective plastic covering. For $3,000 I would expect better delivery service.

Doors don™€™t align

First, this is a gorgeous fridge and I have no issue with the function. I am currently awaiting service from a second appliance service provider for an ongoing issue and I am cautiously optimistic that Frigidaire will resolve my issues to my satisfaction. The doors do not align. The French doors hang in a vee™€"wider gap on top and smaller on the bottom. The freezer door seal is bad, causing condensation, which freezes. The freezer door sticks out farther on the right side of the unit than the left. The freezer door gap under the French doors is much smaller on the right side than the left. This is not a leveling issue, as the first service person attempted for about 20 minutes to adjust the leveling to no avail. A new seal was mailed directly to me?? I am still waiting for an appointment with the new service company I was referred to. I did months of research for what appliances to purchase. I wanted to buy an American brand and get a fridge, stove and dishwasher that matched. So far I am disappointed! When you spend over $2000 for a fridge, you should at least get to be proud of how it looks.

This refrigerator is amazing. It is super big inside. I can fit all my stuff that I need to fit in there with room left over. The freezer section is great. It has two drawers that are movable so you can make one side big one side small there is also a drawer that is in there and one side of the drawer. Also has an extra ice machine. Amazing.

Love the controls and settings

We've owned Frigidaire appliances since we purchased our house in 2006. When it was time for a new refrigerator I've had my eye on the double french doors. I love that it has two ice-making areas. The freeze boost, cold boost and cold drink settings are awesome.I would not purchase any other brand of appliance.

Black Stainless French Door is awsome~

Love the size and space of this unit. Dual Ice maker is awesome. Have not taken full advantage of it because its winter. I plan on using to fill coolers on a regular basis in summer. The led lighting is great. The black stainless looks great with other black appliances. Also like the fact that i can open and close each door independently. Some of the newer require you to close left door first then right with french door design.

Large, feature-packed French-door style with thoughtful design

To preface this review, I'm coming from a similar featured counter-depth Samsung with reliability issues circa 2016. This fridge has many accolades that are not realized until you have it installed. First, the ice/water dispenser works even if you open the other doors. The ice is plentiful and smaller 1-inch pyramid shaped. Having a second ice maker and storage is a bonus but I haven't had a need to delve into this stash. The LED lighting brightens as you open the door. The upper freezer drawer stays stowed upon opening the freezer door. The amount of space used by the upper ice maker is minimal intrusive making more spacious door space. The ice and water dispense much quicker than my previous unit even though I kept the same water line setup. To round out this appliance features, the front is not only magnet friendly, fingerprints do not show,

Love the look in are kitchen the black stainless is sharp the lighting is great you can see everything in fridge and freezer ice maker is quite good and not to noisy love the idea of two ice makers I use alot of ice and so far no freeze ups which is a big plus in my book the temp stays great food stays fresh love this fridge. The only thing i would like to see is the water and ice light up at night to see what buttons to push without turning on lights wish
