Looks great and functions well. But, I can™™t get the interior glass clean. You can™™t open the inner shield to clean the glass. So, it looks dirty, when any light hits it.

The microwave oven fits perfectly where it was installed. Instructions for using it are clear. Also, it cooks as well as I hoped it would. Food was evenly cooked. When reheating food, there were no problems. The capacity is just as good, if not better than, as my previous microwave oven. It is not noisy. In addition, I like the variety all of the cooking options.

The product installation was easy and the design look is nice. The microwave has very good features and works well. There was a manufacturing defect that affects the visual appearance but not the function of the microwave. GE resolved the defect quickly.

The gentlemen that installed the microwave were very professional. They had the old one off and the new one installed and were out the door in about 15 minutes. They knew what they were doing.

I am satisfied with the new microwave but find that understanding exactly which buttons to push his a bit of a trial. The so-called "manual" is just not clear enough on all of the features. IOt clearly operates differently than our old microwave. OI have fond online to see if I can retrieve more information but that has not been too helpful. Right now, I am guressng on many things. I would prefer to have a detailed, clearly articulated manual but I make do with some effort.

This is the 4th GE Over the Range Microwave I have owned. The first 3 were great and gave good service. This replacement one is questionable. The glass tray is slightly smaller and the power is less than previously. The worst change is that the fan comes on when the oven is in use. That makes it very noisy!

So far so good! Our last over the range microwave was installed the early 2000s this one seems leas bulky. It is a very basic model which is fine for the two of us. We are slowly converting all of our appliances to GE! I love the brand!

Our new microwave works good. We do not us a microwave a whole lot but they are nice to have when needed. It took a little time to get used to the control but all is well. Here is the only thing I question. The clock light is an over achiever it is so bright its hard to read form a ways away, it just so bright its blurs out. Can it be calmed down a little? Please advise.

We just received our new microwave today and so far everything looks great. We tried different functions and it worked great. We had a GE microwave from when our house was built and it worked flawless for 17 and a half years. I'm sure this new model will work better than the first one.

The microwave works well but was disappointed that exhaust fan at top of microwave came without a filter. The fan runs whenever in use. My old GE had a charcoal filter. Should have come with appliance. Also GE PART NUMBER FOR FILTER IS WRONG SIZE which has been addressed before on former reviews?

This OTR microwave oven does what it should, but the fact that it is equipped with a 50-watt G8 halogen bulb makes it subpar in the lighting area. And™¦it™™s not even a GE-branded bulb, it™™s a bulb imported from China, which I guess is a nod to GE™™s majority stakeholder being Haier. At manufacturer™™s cost, it would™™ve raised the price of this entire product maybe $2-$3 to have it equipped with a 50-watt equivalent G8 LED bulb straight from the factory. As it is, my choices are to order a single one off eBay at a total cost of $6-$8, or order one from Lowe™™s or Home Depot, as they™™re not stocked in-store. But all in all, this is a basic model, with a few frills (like turntable on-off option), that does a fine job for the price level.

First GE microwave lasted 16 plus years. Second one a little over 2 years. 3rd one broke in 10 months but was under warranty. Only bought because we didn't want to have to change the configuration for installation. Not sure I would ever purchase another.

The unit is functioning very well, and it was fairly simple to handle the self installation with an able assistant. My only suggestion would be to drill the holes in the top cabinet, much larger than the screws, but obviously smaller than the washer.

Our GE over the range microwave is a work horse that gets used several times daily. The best thing is your appliance is up and off the counter, which is great for a small kitchen like ours. The oven is very powerful and heats food quickly. It's easy to clean and noice looking. It also has a vent fan and light. In closing we have been very happy with GE microwaves since this is our second one, the first lasted 18 years!
