This Gas Range Connector Kit is used to hook up your gas range to your home's gas supply. It includes (1) 4' flexible stainless steel gas connector hose, (2) 1/2" male/female connectors, (1) 3/4" male/female connector, (1) tube of sealant, (1) tube of leak detector solution and installation instructions. Note that you will only use one of the fittings to complete the installation. Please check your appliance's use and care manual to ensure this is correct for use with your appliance. Installing this kit will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. I was disappointed after couple use of the range with vapor from pots while cooking food stained the outside of the control panel stainless steel , I contacted Abt as it was within the warranty period they said contact whirlpool, I called the customer service, they said this is cosmetic, we do nothing, how can a stainless steel be stained with just vapor from cooking? It is frustrating very bad quality.

I am really disappointed with this model™€™s design features. The cast iron grates are too big and too heavy which makes it very awkward to clean the surface area. It has a nice large backsplash and a tiny display screen. Why not use up most of the area with the display screen so all the settings can be easily seen. This model does not have air fry, air baking

I absolutely love this range I just wish it was all white not just the bottom half I wish the top was too. I love the way it bakes everything is perfect I never ever thought I would use the air fryer I don't know how many times I've used it now to reheat everything from chicken to french fries. I never had a gas range with a electric broiler I thought that was odd.

White and Bright, and Perfect for the Price!

I love everything about my new GAS range; however, I still prefer a gas broiler to this ELECTRIC one when it comes to broiling steaks. Although electric broilers cook more evenly, sometimes I miss that "charred" effect that only gas broilers can give you. Otherwise, the electronics are very easy to work, the top under the grates is easy to clean, and it has a bottom drawer (which was a mandatory feature I required). This stove's price was a great deal and I was able to get this one in white, which seems to be rare these days.. I haven't tried the air-fry function yet but so far, stovetop cooking and oven baking is spot-on!

I was disappointed that my range didn't come with the proper orifices for propane. It took over 45 minutes on hold to get a hold of a customer service rep. He said they would be shipped out and we would receive them in 7 to10 days. Well we didn't. Made phone calls to Home Depot and a trip to Forest Lake an hour away to get some answers. The manager called and we called and waited another hour for customer service. About a week later we got the orifice. I also have e trouble with the warming drawer closing properly.

am getting used to the "grill" on top of the stove. Really aggravated that a manual telling how the range operates was not included in the materials that came with the range. I tried to find it online, but the only thing I could find would have cost me $22.98. I had to call my dealer and ask him if he could help me. He sent me the site. It's a good thing I could print it out. There are people who cannot. In reading it, it does not tell me much about the air fry basket (what does it even look like) or air baking. I would like a few recipes so could try them and see how the range works. I am not very happy that the freestanding gas range control guide was not included in my purchase. I had to call my dealer after I spent about an hour on the internet. (What do you make in an hour? Send me the money.) I was also unhappy that a few recipes using the air fryer and the air fryer were not included in my purchase. Having never used either, it would help immensely.

I don™€™t think it works correctly and I called the place of sales. They sent somebody out and they said yes, but it makes noise every time the oven is on like I™€™ve had gas ranges before and it™€™s never done that the burners are they can™€™t even turn them down and I just don™€™t feel like this is what it™€™s supposed to be and like I said I™€™ve called the point of sale and there™€™s sending somebody out but the thing is they should™€™ve installed it correctly the first place and it took me three months to get this range from whirlpool because apparently y™€™all don™€™t make them

Recieved stove on 26th of September just before leaving on a trip. Returned on 29th of September. Cooked first meal that night. Upon pudhing the Lasagna button the entire face plate pushed into stove. Repairman was sent out 2 days later. A clip on back jad come loose. He fixed it, and all is good. I love this stove.

I have had this range for two weeks. It has been great so far. It has a nice, clean look. The grates are heavy because they are not for the individual burners. The range came with the parts and full instructions needed to convert from natural gas to propane. I am not in love with the tall, square back of the range, but its not a deal breaker. The storage drawer is a little smaller than the one on my previous range, but I guess that is because the oven is a little larger. The storage drawer also is not as long as the range. It is about 2 inches shorter, so my broiler pan does not fit. It does hold my cookie sheets though.

I have only had it a week but i am impressed. The controls are easy to use, The burners light easily. I have used the convection oven and it does a wonderful job on cooking food without grease. The fan is so quiet that at first I didn't think it was on. I really like the layout of the stove top and knobs. I can't say anything negative about the entire unit.

I have two complaints. 1. Electric broiler? Not stated on the ad I saw and I don't like cooking with anything electric. If I knew the broiler was electric I would not have purchased. 2. Body metal seems a bit thin; we'll have to wait on this one. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the range.

I had a whirlpool for many years, that's why I wanted another one. However, now I'm much older and I don't need all the bells and whistles. My one complaint is that the small burner is in the back of the stove and the grates are built two together instead of separate. This makes it very heavy to lift them up to clean. All in all it's a very clean sleek look and I like that.

I trust and depend on Whirlpool appliances after 25+ years of having them. That said, my new ones really are boxy looking and lack the smooth design I have been so used to looking at. Most importantly, they now feature thin-walled, lighter weight metal in their fabrication. No way they are going to be as durable as their predecessor. I guess we™€™ll see how well they hold up and perform over time.

Good Range, Need Features Explained

The range didn't come with an instruction book on how to use the Air Fry & Air Bake features. So all I know is to press the button for them and then what? Is it instantly ready to go? I have not had these features before and some instructions would have been appreciated. As far as using it as a stove, I'm good with that and it's great.

Overall, it's a really good product. 2 down sides: it's easy to bump the handles causing them to turn and start burners. The oven does not heat up to temperature set. It is 20 degrees F less than set. I did not receive any instructions on how to correct this problem.

I love the new stove. It functions well. My complaint is that it did not come with a grill/cover for the center burner. I want to be able to remove the burner cover and place the solid grill in the center. That way I can utilize the space for cooking. I'm getting used to the oven. It would be helpful to have a user's manual for the air fry and air baking functions.

I miss my old stove

Knobs aren™€™t child (or adult) proof. I inadvertently turn on burners almost daily. burners are too hot. The handle of my favorite pot caught fire. Even at the lowest setting 3 of the burners are too hot. It™€™s a fire hazard. The broiler isn™€™t hot enough.bottom drawer handle is hard to grip. Timer and oven temp are difficult to set. Cleaning stovetop is challenging; grates too heavy. Appliance store offered to call Whirlpool 2 months ago but I™€™ve not heard back.

I ordered this great range WFGS5030RW0 with the gas Connector Kit. 1) Friday an Electric Range was delivered in a crate that was incorrectly marked as gas. 2) Monday I call CS, explained the problem, and they reordered the GAS stove and Connector Kit to be delivered in only a few days on Friday. 3) Friday the GAS range was delivered, but no Connector Kit 4) Monday I again call CS to explain the current situation. The Connector Kit was reordered and arrived in the mail on Saturday. It took 3 weeks to receive all of the ordered (2) items to enjoy my stove. Each phone call was approximately 1 hour including waiting time and then on the phone with a friendly and helpful CS person. The stove did NOT come with a manual on how to use the variety of features. I had to get online and download that for myself. With the exception of this crazy issue, I am now enjoying my stove. Good Customer Service

This is a nice unit. We are especially happy with the edge-to-edge grates (our old stove top only had grates for each burner). The edge-to-edge grates make it much easier to manage pans on top of the stove. And it looks great with the black grates and black top (instead of white) underneath. Other reviewers report that the burners run hot. We've found that you can pretty easily adjust the flame height with a long thin screwdriver as described in the installation manual to turn down the flame and heat on the Low setting. This worked for us.

Quality control issue?

Well, it was delivered and hooked up by the store we bought if from. The technician turned on the oven to 350 and set the timer for 45 minutes. He explained that this was sort of a burn in process to get the oils, etc., from the manufacturing process burned off. He suggested turning on the ventilation hood above the stove, as it was going to smell. It did, so I did. About 25 minutes into the process I happened to glance through the oven door and saw visible orange flames coming up each side of the oven, exceeding the height of the first oven rack position. I called the store and asked if this was normal for the burn in process. They didn't think so, and told me to keep an eye on it. I did, allowing it to complete its 45 minute time. This range did not come with any users guide explaining features and how to use them (disappointing), so I was on my own trying to figure out the controls and began to try different settings, including air fry, air bake & broil. In all cases I had the same large flames coming up the sides of the oven. In total I spent another 45 minutes or so on this. I called the store back and talked to the same person. Their solution was to set up a service call, the soonest of which was 10 days out. So, we've gone from having an oven that didn't work well, to having no oven at all pending service. As an aside, I should also mention that I expected to see the electric broil element turn visibly red when I was testing that out. It did not. Irrelevant until the service person gets here, at which time we'll watch it. I'm wondering if we bought a lemon, or if this is just that poorly manufactured overall.

found out that I have to double the time I used to use on a separate countertop air fryer. setting the temperature or the timer is a pain without being able to just press numbers instead of watching the numbers scroll by and 99% of the time overshooting the temp or time I wanted. I had to readjust all the burners because on the low setting they were much to high. However, it was easy once I read the instructions on how to do it. The user guide that came with the oven was awful. A technician was able to direct me to the online guide.

We have only had this a couple of weeks, but are very pleased so far. I like the wide grates on the gas stove top. I have used the convection setting to make cookies and they turned out great! I have not used the air fryer setting yet.
