the kbos on the range go in order: Lite - Hi-Med-Lo which means I have to start the burner on the highest setting/flame just to go to the lower setting. Also the range sends a big yellow flame vefore Inhave to turn it on and it is a huge fire hazard.

Advertised as easy clean. For the oven this is true. For the cook top cleaning this range is the absolute worst of any I have owned The stainless steel top has a brushed finish which holds on to spills and spatters tenaciously. The grates are rough cast iron there are three long grates which do mot fit easily in a sink have multiple nooks and crannies which are difficult to clean and the rough cast iron is just ridiculous. Do NOT buy this range unless you enjoy frustration - get a range with an enameled surface and enameled grates.

Very poor reliability Faulty parts. LG fails

This range is only two years old and I started getting F9 error message oven would not heat. Seems that the igniter is faulty as well as its ability to maintain heat once it gets there panel reads 400 while oven thermometer reads 200. LG so far has not taken accountability for these faulty parts. I will be filing complaints with California Attorneys General and BBB. A range for this pricepoint should have better reliability and if the parts are faulty then LG should do the right thing and replace gratis.

This range was installed mid-March and by mid-April I can already tell that the quality is less than ideal. While the range seems to work well the cooktop portion is not worth the money we paid. We have been very gentle with the top and it is already stained and looks terrible. We dont make a mess when cooking and have been very careful to clean anything that gets on it even water but the burner covers have ugly spots the burners and cooktop look like they have stains or rust spots and the grates are rusty where the holes are. The grates are also scratching/gauging the stainless-steel cooktop even though they are put in place very gently. This is very disappointing as a range is a purchase that you will have for years. If it already is showing signs of wear from very light use in one month I cant even imagine how horrible it will look in five years. I am almost scared to use it for fear of more permanent stains and scratches. The other disappointing issue is that the cover over the exhaust area at the back of the stove cannot be removed to clean under it. So if you have a stray crumb or such it cannot be cleaned up. The first few times we used the oven portion it set off our smoke alarms even though nothing was baking at the time. This morning a month later it made them chirp two times. Be prepared to deal with a horrible plastic smell from the oven during the first few weeks. And if your smoke detectors are sensitive to particulates it will probably set them off. It was also disappointing that the range only came with 2 oven racks. For the price it is odd. I will say that my favorite feature is the knock-on door to turn on the oven light. We had high hopes for the range but are starting to regret not heeding the other reviews which mentioned the cooktop and grates easily staining.

Broke Down in 3 Years

I bought this range about 3 years ago in August of 2021. A few weeks ago a few leds on the control panel went out. Then the control panel would not allow you to enter certain temperature settings for the oven. Then the fan in the oven started chirping then squeaking then final quit altogether after the chirping noise started. Long story short I called LG and they sent me a tech a week later to fix the problems at a cost of $400+. I Googled these issues in LG ranges and it appears to be an issue. These types of repairs should not be needed in a 3 year old appliance

I am Utterly disappointed with the lack of customer service LG brings to their customers when Repair requests are called and submitted. I just received this oven literally 18th of December this year installed on 20th of Dec. Have I been able to use the oven feature even once since the day of install on the 20th of Dec Nope I am completely Locked out of the control Panel either due to a mechanical error with the oven Unit or Panel. I have been spoken to by the LG Reps like a child asking if the Control lock feature was on to clearly it was not as photos would speak clearly of that i have done all trouble shoots manual has suggested and Reps suggested nothing worked. I will be going on week 3 now with no functioning oven Feeding my family out of a toaster oven. As Per yesterday conversation with LG rep 12/31/24 it will be another 3-5 days till another update if they have found a Repair Tech in my Area. Im sorry this is Ridiculous I purchased this oven for not the looks but for its performs features as I am a home baker and needing a upgrade but also was affordable. For a expensive appliance this literally is a kitchen ornament at this moment with only a functioning stove top you would think that LG Customer Service would be more inclined to assist to finding a Tech for repairs. How long is it worth waiting for repairs before just returning a half useless item to get a fully functional one. I will say if this situation isnt resolved soon that will be the step that is taken and i will not be getting another LG product if this is how situations are Handled.

The baking for sweet treats to delicious meals like Pork Butt Roast whole chickens and even Lamb to cooking vegetables in the oven has been fantastic. I purchased this range based on the recommendation of a trusted consumer reviews magazine and it had the features I was looking for. Everything works as promised and the the quality appears to be excellent. If you are considering an LG range look at the model numbers CAREFULLY. I wanted the control panel display to light up when in use - this model LSGL6337F does - some of the LG appliances do not have a lighted control panel which makes it very difficult to read in low kitchen light. I had to visit several appliance stores to discover this - I wish LG would make this clearer in the specifications.

Weve been using the range for about one month. Cooktop burners are great. Baking and the convection mode are also really good. My only concern is cleaning the cooktop. You have to be somewhat gentle when cleaning up grease and other dirt. Also the five cooktop burner caps are impossible to keep clean. Once a stain gets on it its there for life. You can buy replacements through LG but there about $45 each.

When I was shopping the aisles at the Mart full of ranges i walked by this one and it spoke to me. Now me being somewhat skeptical ignored it and kept looking. Wandered back around and yes it spoke to me again. Needless to say it now sits in my kitchen. I live alone and cook for one. Is it more stove than I need yes. I am looking forward to trying out all its bells and whistles. My previous range was a 25-30 year ol JennAir which I loved for the most part. This stove seems hotter. Water boils fast. Love the heavy solid grates. Have bought a wok and looking forward to that event. I have used the temp probe for a meat loaf. Cooked to perfection. I am a cast iron user so getting used to the different burners and settings is easy. As of today I love the purchase and am looking forward to it continuing to speak to me.

Gas range came defective

My gas range came with a defect. Gas was coming out from burners. The smell was so bad that firefighters and the Gas utility were called. They didnt allow me to use the range. When I called LG the customer service person was horrible. I couldnt use my brand-new range for 2 weeks

Ive had my new range for 12 days and am enjoying getting to know its features. The burner variety is great. Convection bake made a great batch of brownies. Air-fry is new to me but the setting produced good results fast when I tried it last night. We had a couple of hiccups at delivery when nobody noticed one grate was cracked and the griddle was missing but after a call a replacement grate and the griddle were delivered within a few days. The light-up burner knobs are a nice feature to prevent leaving a burner lit unintentionally but the ring of light is so bright that its hard to see the words on the knob. No matter Im confident Ill enjoy using this range and it looks great with my LG fridge.

Very Nice Range but sticky oven shelves

I bought this slide in range to replace a functioning LG gas range with rear controls that I ended up not liking after about 5 years use. This range with the front control panel is much nicer having all the controls in easy reach and with touch control. I particularly like the LED lights on the burner controls knobs which keeps me inadvertently leaving a burner on when not in use which I have done with the previous range. I find the center griddle burner and its grate not useful for my cooking. So that grate is put away to give more space to use the other burners. I would much rather see another regular non elongated burner there. The stainless steel pan under the burners I like because it doesnt show every little spill is easy to clean unlike my previous LG range that had a black shiny pan that showed everything which meant extra work ever time I used the stove. One complaint I have is that tha stainless pan must have a coefficient of expansion different from the rest of the range because it gives out a quick pop sound when it heats up to a high temperature as it must expand at a of the different rate than the rest of the adjacent metal. The oven is fine and easy to use although I havent used all the functions nor tied it to my Wi-Fi. For me and my cooking remote digital access isnt something useful. My oven use is mainly using convection and broil settings and they work fine. Same with air fry which I probably wont use. All I all this is a very nice and attractive appliance that adds to my kitchen look. I gave it 4 stars instead of five because the oven grates dont slide easily and the owners manual says to grease them up with olive oil which seems primitive to me. How about some wheels or a better design. I see there is an optional sliding track shelf but after spending over $2k for the unit Im not interested in shelling out another $350 -400 for a couple of better sliding shelves. Those should be standard issue with the unit

Terrible service

It has been a month without an oven and no one from your support area has contacted us despite taking a $400 up front payment for the repairs. The vendor you assigned only has your central phone number and is not responsive when contacted via their web site. This is the last LG Product I will ever purchase. I expect more when I pay $3000 for an oven than to have it die a month after the warranty runs out and then NOT receive any service at all.

I did not receive the supplies - water bottle scraper etc. No samples. No demonstration for use. I have had to rely on Youtube videos. Hoping I can get some assistance when I call LG tomorrow. Also where do I purchase supplies. This item is not user friendly. Unless I change my mind I dont want to keep it. As the guys who delivered my appliances left I called them to ask about those supplies to no avail. Then I called the sales person who came to my home to place the order and she said to call LG Where are the tutorials?

We bought this range with an entire suite of appliances Im really enjoying cooking with the gas range however at just shy of two years one of the LCD segments in the display burnt out this makes it difficult to work with the settings at times. I contacted the warranty department only to be told that my warranty had expired. I feel that a digital display should have lasted much longer than two years. Ive been a big fan of LG products but this experience may force me to reevaluate my opinion of LG.

My daughter and her husband own this range having purchased one about a year ago locally in Wisconsin. When my wife and I visit we like to cook so we have become familiar with its capabilities and operation. On our last visit my wife decided we had to have one and replace an aging range that we had here in Long Island New York. It is a very attractive appliance with a large oven many features and seems easy to keep clean The range was purchased from Home Depot during a sale. Delivery was when promised but installation was a problem. HD has a policy that requires a gas shut off valve at the back of the range which we dont have. HD could not install so I called a plumber to help even though I had installed our previous range myself. A caution here: careful measurement is required to confirm that the location of the gas supply will be able to accommodate the location of the connection at the back of the range. In our case the pipe leading from the shut off valve directly below in the basement had to be removed cut shorter and retreaded to allow the range to slide back to the correct position. This was done by our plumber and installation was successful. The range operates flawlessly no adjustments to the burners were required. I believe that the oven may be a little cooler than set temperature when the BAKE function is selected but this needs to be verified with a thermometer. Previously with the old range I always used the convection function when using the oven. This probably accelerated cooking times and I am not used to non-convection cooking. The oven is big: think Thanksgiving turkey We have owned this appliance for almost a month now and are very pleased. It has some functions that we will probably not use WiFi dough proofing perhaps but wish it came with a 3rd rack for the oven. Highly recommended-wait for a sale

Right out of the box the oven was not or is not working. I believe I finally have gotten somewhere. with LG as they are now telling me they are going to give me my money back so I can go buy a new one. We will waite and see if it all works out well or not.

Stains that will not go away look terrible

I dont use my stove very often but even with the minimal usage it has accumulated stains that look horrible and wont come clean. Ive followed the manufacturers cleaning instructions but the stains persist. I can only imagine how much worse it would be if I used it frequently. Im extremely disappointed with the quality of this product especially considering its price. I would like a resolution to this issue with the stove.

I hate this stove. The burners got so black like they were made of the cheapest materials and nothing cleans them. I tried everything already. The grill parts on the top bleached into another color as well. I call LG multiple times and they never accepted to replace them even when I still had the factory warranty. One time the guy on the phone was even rude and told me that my accent was too think and he couldnt understand what I was saying.

I love my LG oven. The way it looks and the way it cooks. Ive had it for a year and havent tried all of the features yet. I love the Air Fryer. It allows me cook everything at once as opposed to the counter air fryer. Having said that just one day before the warranty expired the oven stopped working. LG sent a repairman who said it needed a part ordered. It was fixed the following week. LG kept in touch by text to make sure the service company was communicating. Customer service did their part and everything worked out. I have my lovely oven back working beautifully. My only concern is whether that part will break in another year and that is the only reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5.

I purchased this item over 2 years ago as we were renovating. I absolutely loved that two years later ALL LG appliances are working perfectly. The range looks amazing and works even better. It puts out tons of heat and does heat evenly. It is a perfect match for anyone that loves to cook. In addition I love all the bells and whistles. The backlight on the knobs the InstaView functionality the many oven options and the fact it connects to WiFi.

I have only had the oven for a few weeks but it is Great. Oven heats to temperature quickly has a variety of burners for different uses. The wi-fi is a great benefit. Cannot wait to use the added functionality of the temperature probe air fryer and sous vide
