Usless size doesnot fit standart soap container

I ordered 2 pedestals and was looking forward to use basket to store detergent and softener in it. I got them so we would stop using top of appliances for storage. Well what a shock. Arrived today- and none of the standard detergents or softeners or even spray bottles fit in it. Now I have tall appliances can not have cabinets above it and useless pedestals underneath it. Created more problems then solution. All they need extra 2 inches What are they good for just small junk? I would not spend that much money for storing unimportant things under. I guess they only design for a huge laundry rooms where people have to much space and storage and extra money for the shiny box. So disappointed:

Look closely at the 6th picture that drawer does NOT come out. At least the model that I have does not have a way of removing the drawer. No big deal you say? Well when you have your washer dryer and a utility sink all lined up on one wall of your utility room with about 1/2 clearance between each and then you jam a bunch of towels and rags in your Pedestal drawer and one of them sneaks behind the drawer now the drawer wont close all the way. Really annoying. But according to LG I should unstack my washer because there is NO WAY TO REMOVE THE DRAWER. Total bummer since I dont look at all like the football players that installed the washer and dryer for me.

We initially bought our LG washer and dryer without the pedestals but my wife soon realized that her back could not take bending over to transfer clothes to the washer over to the dryer and out of the dryer. The added height the pedestals afford has made life much less painful and removes cleaning supplies from the top of the machines providing a much neater appearance.

Basket insert cuts drawers horizontally rather than vertically resulting in inaccessible space at the back of the drawer. Vertical drawer dividers in previous models were far more efficient. Too bad. For the price you should expect better from LG

These drawers make such a difference. No more leaning way over to switch the wet laundry to the dryer. And the extra storage in our small laundry room really makes a difference.
